Waylander Carbon Felt Blankets are made of thick yet flexible and soft carbonized fibers. They can be used as a welding blanket, but also as a blanket for grill or bbq, heat blanket, gun blanket, heat shield and many more. Unlike most fiberglass blankets, carbon felt feels very soft and smooth on the skin.
Our carbon felt blankets are made of high quality polyacrylonitrile fiber (PAN) which is resistant against very high temperatures. It can easily stand heat until 1800F/1000C. No threads or grommets are used in this blanket. The structure is very soft and can easily be cut into pieces with large scissors.
